He said. She said. Love & First Looks

It was one of the most moving first looks I have done. It’s all part of doing this job. Respecting love, capturing the moments and trying to remember the whole time to not shed happy tears with my clients. There are moments that happen with some of my clients where the love that fills the space in which we are, is so real, so thick, you feel as though it is no longer an invisible force of the heart, but one that can be seen in the air around you if you look closely. If that sounds corny, I apologize, but of all the forces in the world, nothing is stronger, more fierce, than that of love. So to me, it is a living, breathing thing, that exist so strongly in the lives of those who are unafraid to take the chance to grasp it, that it affects the people they come in contact with. No greater force, no natural storm, no act of nature, no evil brought upon the face by the works of man, can cause the complete and utter change that love can. It is an amazing thing and I for one, stand in awe of it’s works.

When it came time to do Becca and Blaike’s First Look, she was excited, he was nervous, very nervous. The moments that followed as they saw each other for the first time, privately, with no interruptions, sweetly oblivious to everything but each other, were simply beautiful.

Here is a view from their side of the first look:

“I remember standing up against the piano waiting and I thought my heart was going to pound out of my chest. I had no idea when she was coming. Then I heard a soft “You can turn around now” over my right shoulder. I had to literally swallow my heart back down my throat. I turned around and was absolutely stunned! I couldn’t hardly talk. She looked beyond beautiful and perfect in every way. An angel couldn’t have held a candle light next to her. I could tell we both wanted to cry and we were doing our best to hold it in, so I cracked a little joke to make us laugh. To be honest, I would do anything to relive the moments of our first look again.” – Blaike

“I was excited and not feeling nervous until I walked up behind him. Well, not a bad nervous, more an anxious feeling than anything. When he turned around I had to fight the happy tears. He looked so handsome. He gave me a big hug, cracked a joke to make me laugh, and told me my dress was perfect, then he said he couldn’t wait for me to be his forever. It was beautiful.” -Becca

Here is a few shots from their first look. Enjoy.
